Wonders of Anatolia 8 Night – 9 Days (TOUR 13 )
Day 1: İstanbul
Arrival to İstanbul Airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight in İstanbul.
Day 2: İstanbul & Ankara
After breakfast drive to Ankara (the capitol of Turkey) and visit Museum of Anatolian Civilizations and the Mouseloum of Atatürk. Dinner and overnight in Ankara.
Day 3: Ankara & Cappadocia
After breakfast departure to Cappadocia. On the way visit to 13th century Ağzıkarahan Caravanserai then drive to Cappadocia. Visit Naturel Citadel of Uçhisar to see amazing landscape of the region. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 4: Cappadocia
After breakfast visit Göreme Valley and its Churches and monasteries painted with colorful frescoes. The Valley of Zelve and Underground City of Kaymaklı or Derinkuyu carved during the Chiristian Era as refuge from persecutors. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 5: Cappadocia & Pamukkale
After breakfast departure for Pamukkale. On the way visit the Mevlana Museum in Konya (the capital of Seljuk Turks in 13th century and famous with the theological school of Mevlana and Whirling Dervishes. Then drive to Pamukkale. Arrival for sunset.
Dinnor and overnight in Pamukkale.
Day 6: Pamukkale & Kuşadası
In the morning afte breakfast visit the ruins of magnificent Temple of Apollo. The Theatre, the fascinating Necropolis and the Great Baths of Hieapolis antique city them drive to Kuşadası. On the way visit Ephesus, the best preserved and most often visited site of all cities of ancient Turkey. Dedicated to Artemis, the Virgin Goddess of the chase. Visit House of Virgin Mary. Sightseeing tour in town then transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight in Kuşadası.
Day 7: Kuşadası & Pergamun & Troy
After breakfast departure for Pergamun. Visit the Red Basilica which was a Temple declicated to Serapis later converted to a church of St. John, Acropolis where the Altar of Zeus and other monuments on the spot as Agora Theatre. The Library and Temples. Next stop is at the Asclepion, the ancient medical center. Then dirive and visit one of the Seven Church of the Revelation in Thyatria. Then proceed to Troy which is the most known site of Asia Minor due to excavations in the last century as well as the writings of Homenus about. Trojan wars. After visit the ruins of 7 layers of this site. Dinner and overnight in Çanakkale.
Day 8: Çanakkale & İstanbul
After breakfast drive to İstanbul. Arrival and visit Hippodrome (The center of sportive events. Athletics, Chariot races and political activities of the old city). And Blue Mosque with 6 minarets of Sultan 17th century which is decorated with Blue tiles.
Topkapı Palace, the Emperial residential palace of Ottoman Sultans between 16th and 19th centuries, the oldest and largest of the remaining palaces in the world. Last visit the historical Grand Covered Bazaar, the most crowded shopping center in the World with its 4000 shops and stalls, selling mostly goid and silver jewellery, copper and brass items, leather coats, carpets and other beautiful Turkish crafts. Return to Hotel. Overnight in İstanbul
Transfer to Airport for flight back to Home.
